Skinny Ranch Dressing

Theres no feeling quite as good as dipping an ooey gooey slice of cheese pizza into a big bowl of ranch dressing. It's a much better feeling than the regret that shortly follows when you realize you've downed almost a whole pizza and the bottle of ranch is nearly empty.

The solution?

Homemade Skinny Ranch Dressing!!

While it wont bring down the sky high number of calories in pizza, it will significantly cut back on the calories you're getting in that dressing. In 2 tablespoons of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing there are a whopping 145 calories and 15 grams of fat. In two tablespoons of this Skinny Ranch dressing there are only 17 calories and 1 gram of fat! You can use it on salads, for dipping veggies, just about anything you can think of.

Here's what you're going to need:

  • 1 3/4 Cups Buttermilk $0.86
  • 1/2 Cup Hellman's Light Mayonnaise $0.59
  • 1 oz package Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix $1.59

Serving size: 2 Tablespoons
Total servings: 36
Price per serving: $0.08

      Fat: 1 g
      Protein: 0 g

Add everything into a medium sized mixing bowl and use either a whisk, fork, or your favorite stirring utensil to mix everything together.

Pour the ranch into some sort of bottle or container that can be sealed and allow it to sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour to thicken up.

This recipe makes around 2 1/4 cups of ranch, and it will last between 2-4 weeks depending on the expiration date on your buttermilk. Each serving is 2 tablespoons.

And there you have it! Easy peasy. Feel free to pour, dip, dunk, and drizzle to your hearts content.

Happy Cooking!
